When the Battle ends, it can always be extended for a short time to try to snatch a victory or increase the lead.
However, any event ends sooner or later.
The creation and confirmation of Battle Challenges happen through a smart contract call, ensuring that no party can influence the outcome of events or the funds of the Battle participants. The smart contract ensures that every Battle is fair and honest. A smart contract automatically pays all winners at the end of each Battle.
Let's look at what exactly happens when the Battle ends.
By default, a Battle in Live status lasts for 30 minutes.
5 minutes before the end of this time, any voting donation in USDT for any side extends the Battle by another 5 minutes from the moment such donation was made.
After 25 minutes have passed since the start of the Battle, after each donation there are 5 minutes left until the Battle ends.
If no more donations are received before the end of the normal and added time, the Battle ends, and its status changes from Live — to Ended.
After the Battle is ended, the smart contract automatically redistributes funds as follows:
those who voted for the winning duelist will get back the USDT they donated to him during the voting
those who voted for the losing duelist lose those donations in USDT they voted for him with
Scroo-G retains its 10% platform commission of all user voting donations in the Battle
the winning Duelist receives 30% of donations of the losing Duelist
the remaining amount of the USDT that was donated to the losing duelist during the voting will be divided among the winners in proportion to their contribution to the victory
The income of the user who voted with USDT donations for the winning duelist is expressed by the formula:
If one side wins with too large a margin of donations, those users who voted for the winning duelist will only be able to return their donations for his victory. They will not earn anything beyond this since the bank of donations for the losing duelist is too small compared to the amount of donations for the winner. After deducting the platform commission and paying royalties to the winning duelist, the smart contract will have nothing to distribute.
If there is an equal ratio of donations in the voting, there is a draw, and in this case:
all users get back the USDT they donated in voting
Scroo-G does not retain its platform commission
duelists do not receive any rewards
no one earns anything, and everyone stays with their own
except the commission spent by users on transactions to create and confirm a Battle Challenge, as well as on donations in voting — these commissions are not refundable
The chat is no longer active when a Battle is in the Ended status. Still, it is available for viewing, just like the history of donations for this Battle.
You can see the ended Battle's final statistics if you click the Statistics button. It will appear in a separate window.
IMPORTANT: Remember that you can share the statistics of the past Battle with your friends to make Scroo-G available to more users!
